The reason why you eat

The food you eat make you what you are.Most people do not know that the way they are build up comes from the food they eat.This means that the type of food you eat shape your body.Your body require balance diet to resist disease,build up new tissues and repair old tissues.The basic component of food you need include starch,protein,fat,vitamin,minerials and water.Starch comes from carbonhydrate food like yam,potatoes,plantain and corn.Protein comes from both animal and plant.Animal protein include fish,beef,mutton and cheese.While plant protien comes from beans,peas and milk from soyabeans.Fat can be obtained from butter,nut,corn and palm oil.Then vitamin comes from vegetables,fruit,grain and eggs.Mineral are calcium,magnesium,potassium,zinc,phosphorus and selenium.This minerals can be obtained from milk, fresh vegetables and eggs.The minerals are mainly use in the body to formulate bones,teeth and blood.Water is simplely made up of hydrogen and oxygen.
