Life Based Upon Food, Breath and Sex! By Parisha Taylor

Reviewing the state of being human means allowing ourselves to look directly at the fact that we have three major bodily survival processes to our species. They are: 1.) Intake/output (food / water), 2.) Breathing, and 3.) Sex, none of which we have been highly educated on throughout our present evolution. Today there is research and knowledge that helps us know how much we still need to know. We do not have a focus on foods and their nutritional value and resources. There is a constant emphasis on weight, being thin and fitting a social size, instead of health as the focus. So the marketplace for an adult is a huge selection of books of perspectives on how to be thin. Facts about the body's needs of nutrition were not there when our major growth and body development from birth through childhood was happening. Parents ate whatever ethnic food conditioning they had or what they could afford. Water. We know so little about how vital water is to us that we are slowly but su...

Are You Paying to Get Fat? What You Need to Know About Thyroid Nutrition and Emotions By Magdalena Wszelaki

As a woman, I want to look and feel great. That means having a flat stomach, firm arms (I will admit hanging arm pouches terrify me), clear skin, great hair and lots of energy to get me through the NYC summer madness of concerts, cocktails and lots of body exposure. Do you too? Yeah, I thought so. Do you know women who are perpetual dieters, who spend 10-20% of their income on diets? It's kinda boring or heart breaking to hear about their next dietary quest when your secret inner voice whispers "Oh dear, I really hope this one works for ya." Whether it is you and someone you know, I want to help you understand something: DIETS DO NOT WORK. We lose the pounds because we deploy all sorts of tricks. The results are: deprivation of nutrients your body needs, therefore cravings kick in and you crash and binge on the 6-month mark. 70% of people who do restrictive diets put these pounds back on, and 50% of them put on even more before they started. Are you kidding m...

Food and Sex - It's Not a Fad Diet By L. G. Campbell

The two things in our lives that we need and enjoy the most are food and sex. Some people might say that you do not have to have sex, and others say there is no such thing as too much sex. But, the fact is that both physically and mentally we all need a certain amount sex. Food, on the other hand, is both a pleasure and a necessity and this is where the problem starts for approximately 70% of the population. We enjoy food so much that we overindulge and eat too much of the wrong things. Have you noticed that everyone seems to be on some kind of a diet or they are starting some new fad diet next week? One person is starting the South Beach Diet and another is starting the Fat Smash Diet, and someone else is still trying the Adkins Diet. We try every new diet that hits the market - including the low-carb, no-carb, low-fat, no-fat, and even the grapefruit diet. And it goes on and on, one fad diet after another and the weight just goes up and down like a yo-yo. The simple truth -...
